Two Builders, One Development

Partnerships can be beneficial to both the partners and the general public. By offering more variety, builders partnering can create a highly diverse neighborhood while maintaining individuality for the home buyer. This approach is being played out in Texas as Green Brick Partners and Taylor Morrison have purchased nearly 900 acres north of Ft. Worth to develop in partnership.

The community, named Madero, will bring more than 2,500 value-oriented homes to this growth corridor of Fort Worth. The construction on the development’s infrastructure will begin Q1 2021with landscaping, roads, the start on the community centers, etc. and the homebuilders will begin construction on the models in early 2022. Madero will include 50, 60, and 77-ft. wide homesites developed in multiple phases. Located in Fort Worth’s Northwest Independent School District, the community will be in proximity to Hwy 287 and offer less than a 30-minute commute to Downtown Fort Worth.

The development plan includes extensive amenities throughout, including two centers with resort-style pools, expansive green spaces with walking trails, parks, and a neighborhood retail area. Local recreational sites, like Eagle Mountain Lake, will be a bonus.

Green Brick Partners will offer approximately 1,250 homes, through its Trophy Signature Homes brand, ranging from 1,500-sq.ft. to 3,500-sq.ft. and feature 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms with prices starting from the high $200s. As with every Trophy Signature Homes community, all upgrades, including engineered wood floors, Smart Home automation packages, and horizontal fireplaces, will come standard with each home.

A master-planned community, Madero’s Taylor Morrison homes will offer designs with options inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic’s changes in lifestyle such as offices to work from home, flex space for home gym or spaces for virtual learning to maximize how families enjoy their living space. Taylor Morrison also plans to build 1,250 single-family homes in the community, offering buyers 12 one-story and two-story floorplans to choose from ranging in size from 1,400-sq.ft. to 3,000-sq.ft. featuring 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms. Homes are expected to start in the high $200s.
