Are you a Skilled Laborer wanting to improve your skills and learn new ones? ROI is currently seeking team oriented Laborer in the Worcester County Area! The qualified individual must be willing to travel, have reliable transportation and work up to ten-hour days. Our ideal candidate should be hardworking individual who will show up on time and finish out the job to the best of their ability.
Position Requirements (May Include But Not Limited To):
- Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of debris with shovel and broom.
- Navigate construction job site terrain and be familiar with working in the roadway.
- Direct traffic within construction site when necessary to ensure safety of work crew.
- Assist with the loading and delivery of materials.
- Demolition & rubbish removal; site maintenance/cleaning.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, as well, as, company policy and procedures.
- Provide labor support by understanding and following directions
- Assists mechanic to position, align, and fit together construction components to complete the installation of systems and work assigned in a timely and quality fashion.
- Places and moves equipment and materials; ability to lift 60-80lbs
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
Position Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience working residential and/or commercial job sites.
- OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30
- Willing to work and travel in all weather conditions and have reliable transportation.
- Experience with exposure to heights, chemicals, dust, dirt, fumes, noise, sludge and moving mechanical parts
- Ability to spend long periods of time in awkward positions such as bending, reaching and kneeling.
- Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with diverse personalities, and complete assignments according to project timelines.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, and over time if needed.
