Job Description
We are seeking skilled and reliable Carpenters with experience in both rough and finish carpentry to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, operating a variety of tools, and completing a wide range of residential and commercial construction tasks with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
We have a number of active sites around North and Central Jersey for carpenters with commercial experience (rough to finish).
Responsibilities:
Finish Carpentry:

Precisely install various types of interior and exterior trim including baseboards, staircase trim, standard and custom trim, crown molding, quarter round, and full architectural finish packages.

Ensure all finish elements are installed plumb, level, and flush, maintaining a high standard of detail and quality across all visible surfaces.
Rough Carpentry:

Construct and install framing, forms, blocking, and backing with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to structural specifications and safety protocols.

Execute demolition work as required for renovations or build-outs, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding structures.

Assemble and secure roof trusses and wood or metal framing systems in accordance with engineering plans and local codes.

Install subflooring, decking, windows, doors, and various exterior siding systems.
Blueprint Reading & Technical Proficiency:

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide layout, measurements, and installation processes.

Use a wide array of hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to cut, fabricate, and install components accurately.
General Carpentry & Site Support:

Perform both interior and exterior finish work with consistency and high attention to aesthetic and functional outcomes.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, complying with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:

OSHA 10 certification preferred, but not mandatory (training opportunities available).

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial and/or residential construction.

Proven ability to consistently work a standard 40-hour week, with availability for overtime as needed.

Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a proactive approach to task management.

Excellent references that confirm reliability, quality of work, and team collaboration.

Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with advanced trim techniques and specialty materials.

Experience working on high-end custom builds or renovations.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Pay Range: $25-32/hr.
