Job Responsibilities:
Work a predictable schedule in a factory setting to properly manage industrial waste and our pre-treatment wastewater system. You will be under direct supervision to help and aid with non-routine activities, You will be handling and responsible for proper labeling, moving and storing various waste streams the site generators. Perform operational functions relating to clean-up of industrial waste in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable regulations. We will also train you from the ground up to operate our wastewater pretreatment system. We will teach you all the necessary actions to monitor and make adjustments to our two systems so you can aid in our location meeting our permitted discharge requirements. In this role you will be required to be hands-on while working around chemicals and being responsible for hazardous and non-hazardous waste in a safe fashion.
This role has high regulatory visibility. We expect the candidate to be able to complete log, track information and aid the company in a variety of duties that comply with government regulations and procedures.

- Maintains Wastewater Treatment equipment.
- Maintains logs, labels and documentations to satisfy Governmental Agencies.
- Be able to ready touch screens, handle held meters and colorimetric test kits.
- Performs general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and facility grounds.
- Processes hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and other material moving equipment.
- Performs other, related duties as assigned. These are duties may not be specifically listed in this description, but which are within the general nature typically associated with the employee’s level of work.
Qualifications:
- Ability to use material handling equipment, push/pull full drum on drum dolly, lift and move 50lbs regularly.
- Can read and write to complete required documentation.
- Able to wear PPE during weather extremes.
- Skilled using and reading meters, measuring instruments, and comfortable with both hand & shop tools.
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities.
- Ability to receive forklift certification.
- Able to maintain onsite DOT requirements, to be able to demonstrate annual regulated waste training.
