RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop construction documents, including site plans, aerial imagery overlays, details, profiles, elevations, and section views
  • Manage drafting supplies and plotting equipment maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Associate’s degree or completion of technical trade school in CAD preferred. Equivalent on the job training will also be considered
  • AutoCAD experience required
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
  • Experience in general municipal and infrastructure improvement projects preferred
  • Ability to prepare familiar or recurring work from general instruction
  • Ability to prepare detailed work from sketches or other engineering instruction
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience desired
  • Skilled in oral and written communications, organization, and interpersonal relations
  • Ability to work under the supervision of others, or independently
  • Ambitious nature with desire to learn, adapt and grow
  • Committed to working efficiently
  • Read and interpret plans
  • Energetic, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic
ELIGIBILITY:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Licensed to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be willing to take a drug test (if requested)
