Resource Options is looking for a self-motivated and proactive Project Coordinator to join an established civil, environmental, and waterways contractor in the Boston area! The ideal candidate will have at least three years of construction and/or environmental services experience. Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships. This includes Environmental Services‚Äô (ES) external key clients as well as all internal clients
  • Search for, acquire, review, and break down potential Environmental Services (ES) external bid opportunities available from all market sources.
  • Create and administer an efficient and consistent weekly review process for potential bid opportunities so that the ES team can evaluate Go/No-Go responses accurately and efficiently. Upload, track, and maintain ES bid opportunity details and status via Salesforce.
  • Maintain consistent contact with external ES bidders to track/update bid status, review amendments for scope changes.
  • Maintain amendment review and tracking process with timely notification to estimators of any changes that will impact bid responses.
  • Coordinate MBE documentation to support outgoing ES bid responses.
  • Develop knowledge of environmental bid scopes as they relate to MDOT, BWSC, MBTA, DCAM and any other applicable public bid opportunities.
  • Daily management of ES ‚ÄúEstimating Schedule‚ÄĚ and bid documents database.
  • Accurately track and report win/loss details related to bid/quoted projects on a weekly basis via Salesforce.
  • Track deliverables required from ES group to support Contracting Bids.  Work with Estimators to receive efficient T&D scope packages in a timely manner for ES team to effectively pursue vendor pricing and evaluate best logistics options in a timely manner.
  • Produce weekly Salesforce reports for ES team to review and track/update action items.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ES contract files.
  • Review incoming subcontracts by initially identifying key ES terms and conditions for PM efficient review and engagement with client.
  • Attend Estimating walk-throughs as necessary.
  • Assist PMs to track and update daily changes to multiple ongoing small and large-scale projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Construction and/or environmental education and/or experience.
  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including some experience/proficiency in technical writing and document preparation.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office and highly proficient in Excel.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Able to work well in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
