Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable and fast growing Water Works & Infrastructure supply company on their search for an experienced and eager Fabrication manager to join their team. The Ideal candidate will bring four plus years’ experience working in a previous rebar fabrication role, strong knowledge of CRSI/rebar detailing standards, technological proficiency related to the industry and someone who demonstrates leadership and team management abilities. Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall growth strategy and mission for the construction department.
  • Provide leadership and support in line with the Company's vision and values.
  • Facilitate effective communication between detailers and customers for smooth delivery and problem resolution.
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Review contract extras and changes, coordinating with sales personnel for accurate customer billing. 
  • Handle customer back-charges and negotiate settlements, preventing recurrence of issues. 
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in detailing methodology and equipment. 
  • Assist with the hiring and recruitment process for new team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or fabrication industry.
  • Strong familiarity with CRSI and rebar detailing standards.
  • Ability to perform basic math and engineering calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technological proficiency related to the industry.
  • 4+ years professional work experience in similar role/field
