Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct.

  • Schedule and perform Preventative Maintenance work.

  • Schedule and coordinate work with outside vendors.

  • Perform reactive maintenance work.

  • Evaluate and provide supporting information for the preparation of proposals and WAF's for plant operations, repairs, or overall system improvements.

  • Assist in the preparation of wastewater and/or water treatment plant predictive and preventative maintenance plans as assigned.

  • Identify and resolve safety issues.

  • Maintain safety equipment and supplies.

  • Maintain site specific maintenance forms.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement for the operation and maintenance of assigned facilities.

  • Interact with Maintenance and Operations Supervisors to ensure proper facilitation of maintenance requests.

  • Interact with operators to ensure proper operation and compliance of facility

  • Interact with clients as necessary.

  • Interact with subcontractors as necessary.

  • Perform maintenance of facilities to ensure equipment remains in good working order

  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Education or background in water and/or wastewater treatment or supporting technical field (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical).

  • 3+ years' experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred or 3+ years in a regulated industry.

  • Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to water/wastewater treatment plant troubleshooting, operation and maintenance, hazardous material handling, storage or containment.

  • Ability to read, interpret and utilize information found in blueprints, schematics, technical manuals diagrams and equipment specifications.

  • Basic knowledge of MA Water/Wastewater regulatory requirements.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Must possess a valid US driver's license.
