Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate articulated rock trucks to transport soil, aggregate, or contaminated materials within the project site.
  • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Follow haul routes and adhere to load limits and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with spotters and heavy equipment operators to coordinate safe loading/unloading.
  • Assist with site preparation, trenching, grading, and other earthworks.
  • Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support sampling, monitoring, and hazardous material handling under supervision, as needed.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
     
Qualifications:
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (required).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience operating articulated dump/rock trucks in construction, mining, or environmental projects
  • Willingness and ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Experience on environmental remediation or contaminated site projects.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic maintenance of heavy equipment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
Pay Range: $25/hr. - $28/hr.
