Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a wide variety of projects including NEPA compliance, ecosystem restoration (in conjunction with an engineering team), climate adaptation/resiliency relating to natural resources, freshwater and/or coastal wetland assessments, and/or watershed management plans.
- Support our existing natural resource practice in New England with projects related to natural resource assessments, restoration, and management.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams through the regulatory process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred) in natural resources, biology, ecology, environmental science or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in New England on projects related to natural resource assessment, management, and/or restoration.
- Experience in one or more of the following technical areas: NEPA compliance, ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation/resilience relating to natural resources, freshwater and/or coastal wetland assessments, watershed management planning, and/or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience navigating federal, state, and local permitting requirements for projects in New England and/or the Northeast.
- Experience preparing proposals and exposure to grant funding requirements is preferred.
