Job Description:
  • Handling a variety of tasks including environmental investigations and assessments including regulatory compliance, asbestos and lead paint inspections and remediation oversight
  • Uses and maintains industrial hygiene monitoring instruments
  • Collects samples as required by various regulatory agencies
  • Prepares project chain of custody report accurately and in a timely manner

Job Requirements:
 
  • Massachusetts Asbestos License and/or AS/BS degree or degree equivalent in environmental science, environmental engineering, civil engineering, geology, hydrology, biology, or industrial hygiene.
  • Willingness to receive reciprocal asbestos licensure in neighboring states.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction, Hazwoper 40-Hour, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, and OSHA Lead Awareness training preferable.
  • Licensure and/or previous experience in asbestos project monitoring preferred.
  • Previous experience in hazardous materials testing and/or environmental engineering preferred.
