Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine site plans and land development strategies. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to design functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Create detailed site layouts and grading plans. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop grading designs and ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
- Design and implement effective storm water management systems. Conduct hydraulic modeling to analyze and optimize storm water flow and drainage.
- Develop designs for water distribution and sewer systems. Coordinate with utility providers and stakeholders to ensure integration and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage and coordinate utility design and installation, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems. Ensure seamless integration with site plans and resolve any conflicts that arise.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and modeling. Conduct hydraulic modeling to support design and analysis efforts.
- Apply knowledge of local planning and zoning processes to ensure that designs meet regulatory requirements and support project goals.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software.
- Familiarity with planning and zoning processes and local regulations.
