Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to create accurate civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Assist in the development of grading and drainage plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed layout drawings, cross-sections, and profiles for various civil engineering projects.
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for design improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to enhance drafting skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with other design software is a plus (e.g., Civil 3D).
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in grading and drainage design.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the civil engineering field.
