Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to create accurate civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in the development of grading and drainage plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed layout drawings, cross-sections, and profiles for various civil engineering projects.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for design improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to enhance drafting skills.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with other design software is a plus (e.g., Civil 3D).
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in grading and drainage design.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the civil engineering field.
