Overview: We are seeking a Chemical Field and Lab Technician to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will split their time equally between field and lab duties, handling and testing chemicals, labeling, and data entry. This role requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual with experience in chemical handling and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical testing on drums to check balance, specific gravity, and pH levels.
  • Label drums with designated S-Codes according to company and regulatory standards.
  • Enter test data accurately into computer systems for tracking and compliance.
  • Follow all OSHA 40 safety guidelines and maintain a clean-shaven appearance to ensure proper fit for respirators or other safety equipment.
  • Work as part of a team of two, supporting each other in field and lab activities.

Requirements:

  • OSHA 40 Certification (required)
  • Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and background check.
  • Clean-shaven appearance (for safety equipment compliance).
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and testing protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours, with flexibility for overtime on Saturdays.
