Our client is seeking a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader in the NYC Metro Area to support bridge inspection for long span, roadway, and rail bridge projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare in-office support for field inspections, such as development of inspection documentation forms prior to field work
  • Perform field inspection duties and inspection reports in compliance with Client Requirements
  • Travel to required project location(s)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
  • At least 3 years of recent experience in bridge inspection, design, or related work
  • Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course
  • FE/EIT certification
  • OSHA 30
  • Physically capable of performing tasks associated with the position. Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts and access equipment
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills
  • Driver's License
