Our client is seeking a CADD Designer in their NYC or NJ office.

Our client is seeking a CADD Designer in their NYC or NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain CADD files for transportation engineering projects including civil, structural and electrical engineering plans.
- Detail steel and concrete structures such as bridges and retaining walls
- Prepare construction plans conforming to CADD standards of agencies such NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, PennDOT, PTC, NYSDOT and NYCDDC
- Prepare color plans for proposals
- Prepare color displays for public meetings
- Oversee, train and perform quality control of CADD technicians
- Work closely with project managers and project engineers
Requirements
- Associate degree or vocational school training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related field preferref
- Five or more years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADD
- Proficiency w/ Microstation and AutoCAD software
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit and/or BIM preferred
- Understanding of NJ/NY/PA transportation agency CADD standards preferred
