Our client is seeking a CADD Designer in their NYC or NJ office.


Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain CADD files for transportation engineering projects including civil, structural and electrical engineering plans.
  • Detail steel and concrete structures such as bridges and retaining walls
  • Prepare construction plans conforming to CADD standards of agencies such NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, PennDOT, PTC, NYSDOT and NYCDDC
  • Prepare color plans for proposals
  • Prepare color displays for public meetings
  • Oversee, train and perform quality control of CADD technicians
  • Work closely with project managers and project engineers

Requirements
  • Associate degree or vocational school training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related field preferref
  • Five or more years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADD
  • Proficiency w/ Microstation and AutoCAD software
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit and/or BIM preferred
  • Understanding of NJ/NY/PA transportation agency CADD standards preferred
