Responsibilities: 
  • Support and work directly with Professional Engineer.
  • Preparation of concept plans, full site plan package designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Preparation of NJDOT Local Aid, Open Space, and CDBG grant applications and programs.
  • Review of Site Plan and Subdivision applications.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Coordination of project tasks with sub-consultants.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineer support staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in Site Civil and/or Municipal Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
  • Software experience must include: Civil 3D, Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, AutoTurn/Vehicle Tracking (Civil 3D), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Site, Grading, Drainage, Utility, Erosion Control, and Lighting Design.
  • Experience in the preparation of Construction Details, Technical Specifications, and Technical Design Reports.
  • Experience in permitting for the following agencies: NJDEP, NJDOT, Soil Conservation Districts.
  • Experience in analyzing local zoning ordinances.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
