ROI is collaborating with a leading multidisciplinary civil engineering firm to find a highly skilled and adaptable professional to support the design, development, and organization of bridge and civil engineering plans, specifications, and contractual documents. The role involves working with AutoCAD and MicroStation to deliver high-quality bridge design and analysis documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and organize CAD files, including plans, specifications, and contract documents for bridge design and analysis.
- Partner with design engineers to define drawing requirements, details, plan set structure, and project timelines for bridge and structural projects.
- Develop comprehensive structural detail plans using AutoCAD Civil3D or MicroStation.
- Prepare project documentation, including geometric calculations, for bridge-related projects.
- Assist in the creation of reports, manuals, and other technical documentation for bridges and specialized structures.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of bridge design principles, with a foundational knowledge of structural analysis.
- Proven experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on project submissions.
- Familiarity with CAD bridge contract plans, details, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MicroStation Connect, OpenRoads, or OpenBridge is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
