Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Prepare and submit detailed reports to the NJDEP in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate data and project documentation.

  • Assist in managing various environmental remediation projects, from planning to execution, ensuring that all project phases meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of junior staff, ensuring that work is completed on time and adheres to safety and quality standards.

  • Organize and schedule field days for site assessments, remediation activities, and data collection, ensuring optimal use of resources and compliance with project timelines.

  • Prepare and review technical reports, environmental assessments, site investigation reports, and other necessary documentation to support remediation projects.

  • Support communication with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring project requirements are clearly understood and met.

  •  Apply knowledge of brownfields remediation, including site assessment, contamination evaluation, and remediation techniques, to ensure successful project execution.

  • Develop the skills and experience necessary to take on a full Project Manager role, with the potential for leadership of complex projects and teams.
     

Qualifications: 
 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental site remediation, with a strong focus on brownfields projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficient in writing NJDEP reports and technical documentation.

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and remediation processes, particularly in New Jersey.

  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff effectively.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with scheduling, project coordination, and client interaction

  • Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the office.

  • Fieldwork may be required occasionally, depending on project needs.
