Job Description:

Our ideal electrician has a track record for being reliable, accompanied by a solid work ethic and 6+ years’ experience under a licensed contractor. Good background knowledge of electrical theory and wiring

Pay Rate $40-45/hr
Responsibilities:
• Supervision & Leadership:
o Lead and supervise a team of electricians, apprentices, and laborers on commercial electrical projects.
o Ensure the team is following the proper safety protocols, regulations, and electrical codes.
o Provide on-site training, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure high performance and safety. 
o Oversee project progress, quality control, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
o Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, panels, wiring, and control systems in commercial buildings.
o Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
o Review electrical plans and blueprints to determine project requirements and feasibility.
o Enforce safety standards to ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
o Conduct job site inspections to ensure the safe handling of tools, equipment, and electrical systems.
o Oversee the ordering, receiving, and inventorying of materials and supplies necessary for the project.
o Work closely with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and resources to meet project deadlines.
o Ensure all electrical installations meet code requirements and industry standards.
o Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to verify the functionality of electrical systems.

Qualifications:
o Minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial electrical work, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
o Valid electrical license or journeyman certification required.
o Additional certifications SST and Osha 30.
o Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
o Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
o Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical systems.
o Ability to lift and carry tools and materials up to 40 lbs.
o Ability to work in various weather conditions and on job sites of varying complexity.
o Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
o Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as required by the project.
