Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician/Installer to install, service, and troubleshoot a variety of low-voltage systems, including security systems, surveillance, access control, and structured cabling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security and life-safety–related systems and be comfortable working independently in the field.
Responsibilities:

Install, service, and troubleshoot security systems, including alarms and related low-voltage components

Install, service, and troubleshoot IP, analog, and coax-based camera systems

Perform fiber optic work, including termination, testing, and splicing
-
Install and service door access control systems, including key card and credential-based systems
-
Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs efficiently and accurately
-
Terminate and test low-voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6, coax, fiber, etc.)

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
-
Ensure all work meets industry standards, codes, and customer requirements

Provide professional customer service and clear communication on-site
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 2 years of low-voltage installation and service experience

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Proficiency in cable termination and testing

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
-
Experience working in commercial or industrial environments

Familiarity with networking concepts related to IP-based systems
- Industry certifications (BICSI, manufacturer certifications, etc.)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.
