Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Mason. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traditional and modern masonry techniques, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all facets of masonry work, including bricklaying, blocklaying, stone setting, and mortar mixing.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.

  • Construct and repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other masonry structures.

  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Lead and mentor junior masons and laborers, providing guidance and training.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Accurately estimate materials and time required for projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

  • Maintain knowledge of current building codes and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in a variety of masonry materials and techniques.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Excellent knowledge of mortar mixing and application.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 1  

  • OSHA certifications a plus.

Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour
