Job Description:

We are working with a residential remodeling and new construction contractor looking for a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. Most of the work will involve finish carpentry, with occasional remedial or rough carpentry tasks, such as framing. The ideal candidate will have experience with cabinets, trim, baseboards, crown molding, doors, windows, and possibly some summer deck work. You will be expected to work with basic hand and power tools and will collaborate with a crew of 3-4 carpenters depending on the project size.

This is a contract-to-hire position, offering competitive pay rates with the potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform finish carpentry tasks such as installing trim, crown molding, cabinets, baseboards, and doors.

  • Assist with some rough carpentry and framing work as needed.

  • Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 carpenters, contributing to the overall success of the project.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in residential finish carpentry (remodeling and new construction).

  • Proven ability to work with a variety of materials including trim, cabinetry, baseboards, crown molding, and doors.

  • Experience working with basic hand and power tools.

  • OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.

Top Must-Haves:

  1. 3+ years of residential finish carpentry experience.

  2. Experience with remodeling and new construction projects.

  3. Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.

Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour
