Openings for experienced civil engineering/construction inspectors. Duties include conducting on-site observations to monitor the progress and quality of work; engineer’s liaison with the contractor; maintaining adequate records, including a daily logbook and a set of drawings on which authorized changes are noted; reviewing the contractor’s application for payment; and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Prepare daily inspection reports

Perform quantity computations

Perform material sampling and testing

Maintain field records
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

High school diploma with considerable knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer or Relevant field preferred

Relevant field inspection experience in civil, highway, vertical, or relevant engineering and survey fields

NETTCP HMA/CI/S&A and/or ACI certification, NICET II-IV certification, Professional Engineering License or CCM/CMIT Certification preferred
