We have multiple openings for apprentices and journeyman who are experienced in the commercial sector. Our ideal electrician has a track record for being reliable, accompanied by a solid work ethic and 4+ years’ experience under a licensed contractor.

Projects located throughout Passaic, Essex and Bergen County.  Large backlog of work. Immediate openings for qualified candidates.

Job Description:
Commercial Installation Plumber installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. This involves installing pipes, fixtures, and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing leaks and other plumbing issues. They may also work on underground drainage and water supply systems, and coordinate with other tradespeople.

Pay Range: $30-$35/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation:
    Installing new plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures (toilets, sinks, etc.), and appliances (water heaters, dishwashers). 
  • Maintenance:
    Performing regular inspections and maintenance to ensure plumbing systems are functioning correctly, including drain cleaning, pressure testing, and backflow prevention. 
  • Repair:
    Fixing leaks, broken pipes, and clogged drains, as well as repairing or replacing fixtures and appliances. 
  • Blueprint Reading:
    Interpreting blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute installations. 
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identifying and resolving plumbing problems, often requiring a strong understanding of building codes and regulations. 
  • Collaboration:
    Working with other construction workers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Customer Service:
    Providing excellent customer service and communicating clearly with clients throughout the process. 
  • Safety:
    Adhering to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring the safety of themselves and others on the job site. 

Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: A strong understanding of plumbing principles, building codes, and various plumbing systems. 
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve plumbing problems efficiently and effectively. 
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings. 
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, handle, and move heavy tools and materials, and to work in various positions (standing, crouching, etc.). 
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to explain complex plumbing issues in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Experience: While some positions may require previous experience, others may offer training opportunities.
