Join a leading team as an Electrical Engineer! Are you passionate about MEP consulting and looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to a leading MEP/FP engineering and consulting firm in the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electrical design engineers to work on commercial, institutional, and government clients across New England. Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in low and medium voltage power, easy power, load flow analysis, and working on electrical engineering drawings, in a Commercial, Institutional and Healthcare
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical and process (MEP) engineers and technicians
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary large capital projects involving owners, general contractors, contractors, and system integrators
- Experience with electrical as-built drawings that are incorporated into master CAD drawings
- Experience reviewing and updating electrical system models
- Strong proficiency with Revit
- Experience with project close out including reviewing construction specifications, as-builts, O&M manuals and submittals
- A bachelor of science in electrical engineering, or a degree emphasizing power distribution, or equivalent work experience
- A professional engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year
Responsibilities:
- Provide sustaining facilities electrical engineering support for our clients’ site electrical distribution systems
- Review and approve electrical designs for manufacturing power distribution systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction and renovation projects
- Review electrical design specifications and drawings
- Review cost estimates and budgets
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and help lead project teams
- Maintain current code knowledge
- Read and interpret design drawings and specifications
- Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team
Pay Range:
$115,000-$140,000 Salary
