Job Description
We are seeking experienced and motivated Lead & Commercial Carpenters to oversee and participate in high-quality commercial construction projects.
The Lead Carpenter role involves leading a crew of carpenters, coordinating with site supervisors, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of commercial carpentry, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
Commercial carpenters will be required to perform metal stud framing, hanging drywall, installing acoustical ceilings, light taping and spackling. Finish work will installing casings, hanging doors, fixtures and basic trim work.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on commercial job sites

Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution

Perform advanced carpentry tasks including metal stud framing, drywall installation, door/window installation, and finish carpentry

Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards

Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to maintain project timelines

Maintain job site safety and ensure OSHA compliance

Train and mentor junior carpenters and laborers

Manage materials, tools, and equipment usage efficiently
Qualifications:

Minimum 5–10 years of commercial carpentry experience

Proven leadership experience on job sites

Proficient in blueprint reading and construction math

Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and materials

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Pay Range: $28-$35 per hour
