We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical systems design and implementation for commercial, residential, and mixed-use building construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and construction professionals to ensure all electrical systems meet code, performance, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and review electrical plans for building construction projects including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, data/communication, and security systems.
  • Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct load calculations, panel schedules, and riser diagrams.
  • Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams and stakeholders throughout design and construction phases.
  • Perform site visits, inspections, and technical evaluations during construction to verify adherence to design and resolve field issues.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Revit

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) license in New York State or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for building construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
