Job Description
At Resource Options we are seeking a skilled tradesperson responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various structures, including buildings, and other infrastructure. Their work not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of these structures but also provides protection against environmental factors
Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Clean, scrape, sand, and patch surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint. This may involve removing old paint, filling holes, and treating surfaces to create a smooth base.

Mixing and Matching Paint: Select and mix paints to achieve the desired color and consistency, ensuring uniformity and quality in the final finish

Application of Coatings: Apply primers, paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Ensure even coverage and desired texture on all surfaces. Protection of Surrounding Areas: Cover floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths or plastic sheeting to protect them from paint splatters and spills.

Maintenance of Tools and Equipment: Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers, to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.

Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications. Address any imperfections or issues promptly.
Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience as a painter, with a solid understanding of painting techniques and materials.

Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of painting materials and how to select, mix, and apply them appropriately.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy equipment

Attention to Detail: Conscientious with great attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety procedures to prevent occupational hazards.
Pay Range: $20/hr. - $30/hr.
