This role is ideal for electricians who are confident working with 480V systems, motor controls, PLCs, switchgear, and automated equipment, and who take pride in precision, safety, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to and including 480V
- Work with switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, transformers, and power distribution
- Install and support cable tray systems, conduit, and industrial wiring
- Assist with PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and automated equipment (programming experience a plus)
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control issues to minimize production downtime
- Read and interpret industrial blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, OSHA requirements, and plant safety standards
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and supervisors to meet production and project goals
- Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate daily work documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- 480V systems
- Motor controls & MCCs
- PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Sensors, automated controls, and industrial instrumentation
- Cable tray installation and industrial conduit
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including heights, confined spaces, and active production areas
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
Pay & Schedule:
- $31.00/hr. - $37.00/hr. Based on experience and certifications
- 8-hour shifts with overtime available
