Our client, a nationally recognized consulting firm, is seeking a Construction Safety Consultant to support a diverse portfolio of projects in the Boston area. Known for providing tailored safety solutions across the construction, life sciences, institutional, and commercial sectors, this firm has built a reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and client-focused service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits on active construction sites

  • Provide jobsite safety oversight, including hazard identification and mitigation strategies

  • Deliver safety training sessions (OSHA 10/30, Fall Protection, Confined Space, etc.)

  • Assist clients with the development and implementation of Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Accident Prevention Plans

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client-specific safety requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to foster a culture of safety

  • Keep detailed records and prepare written reports on findings and recommendations

  • Stay current on federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction safety or a related field

  • OSHA 30 Construction certification required (OSHA 500/510 preferred)

  • CHST, CSP, or other safety-related certification a plus

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, particularly in construction (29 CFR 1926)

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: $45.00/hr. - $55.00/hr. Commensurate with experience
