Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic (SM2 or SM1) to join a growing team supporting commercial HVAC and ductwork installations throughout Connecticut. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and consistent performance.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and repair commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications

  • Fabricate, modify, and fit sheet metal components as needed

  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient workflow

  • Follow all jobsite safety protocols and OSHA standards

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate job documentation


Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut SM2 or SM1 license (required)

  • 3+ years of commercial sheet metal experience

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

  • Physically capable of lifting materials and working in varied jobsite conditions

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license


 

Pay Range: $40.00/hr. – $43.00/hr. Based on experience.
