Job Description

We are seeking a positive, confident, and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience with site work, environmental sampling, and foundation-related construction projects while contributing to a firm known for its culture and employee growth track.
Responsibilities:

Perform field monitoring of foundation-related construction activities (earthwork, ground improvement, pile installation).

Collect and test soil, groundwater, and soil gas samples in accordance with project specifications.

Prepare clear and detailed daily field reports, documenting geotechnical and geoenvironmental observations.

Operate and maintain field equipment/instrumentation, including density gauges, seismographs, and sampling tools.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related discipline.

Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Bluebeam Revu experience a plus.

OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and/or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Ability to walk and traverse varying uneven terrain

Maintain professionalism, safety, and maintaining strong working relationships with contractors and colleagues.
Pay Range: $28.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.
