Job Description

We are partnering with a growing and highly respected engineering firm in NYC, to identify Inspection Team Leaders to join their Bridge Division. With a strong backlog of diverse and exciting projects, our client is literally changing the landscape of New York City, delivering some of the most unique and impactful infrastructure developments in the region. Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in overseeing project and inspection teams on active NYC assignments.

  • Coordinate personnel, schedules, and equipment to ensure smooth execution of field efforts.

  • Develop and organize inspection documentation and related materials in advance of field activities.

  • Conduct on-site inspections, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports in line with client expectations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during field operations.

  • Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety standards on all job sites.

  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior staff.

  • Travel as needed to project sites across the city.


Qualification & Skills: 

  • Active New York PE License required

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

  • At least 4-6 years of recent bridge experience in inspection as a Team Leader

  • Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course

  • OSHA 30 

  • Capable of performing tasks associated with the position. Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts and access equipment

  • Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY agencies


 Pay Range: $120,000 - $170,000 Annual Salary.
