Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Wastewater Operator II, your expertise will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our wastewater facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operate and maintain assigned industrial wastewater treatment facilities.
- Support the Operations Lead Operator and Supervisor in daily activities and special projects.
- Monitor and adjust treatment processes and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage.
- Ensure workplace safety and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
- Utilize computer systems (Windows, MS Office) to manage operational data and reporting.
Qualifications:
We’re seeking an experienced professional who brings strong technical skills and attention to detail to every project. Ideal candidates will have:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industrial wastewater field.
- Minimum valid 2I Wastewater Operator License
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for wastewater operations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Availability for after-hours and on-call work as required.
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification (or ability to obtain pre-employment; company-provided).
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License, DOT medical card, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pay Range: $25.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.
