Job Description
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding engineering firm in the Boston area, having nearly doubled in size over the past year and continuing to secure exciting new projects. To support our growth, we are seeking a motivated Office Administrator who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you’ll handle traditional administrative duties such as scheduling, document management, and office coordination, while also taking on opportunities to grow in areas like marketing support, social media management, billing, and accounts receivable/payable. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to expand their skillset and make an impact in a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities:

Billing support and Excel spreadsheets (updates, tracking, simple reports)

Track internal tasks, deadlines, and KPIs

Outreach to potential clients by phone and email

Research new opportunities in our online databases and build lead lists

Assist with proposals (formatting, compiling, light writing)

Onboard new employees (paperwork, checklists, scheduling)

Answer incoming calls and manage the inbox professionally

Schedule light lab work and coordinate calendars

Create quick proposals/estimates from call notes when needed
Qualifications:

Strong Excel skills (sorting, filters, basic formulas; pivots are a plus)

Clear phone presence and solid writing

Comfortable making outbound calls

Organized; can juggle many tasks without dropping details

Self-starter who can troubleshoot alone and find answers

Professional, punctual, reliable
Pay Range: $22.00/hr. - $26.00/hr. (contingent on experience) . Overtime opportunities may be available and paid at 1.5x the regular rate.
