Job Description

We are seeking skilled and reliable Residential Carpenters with at least 3 years of experience in both rough and finish carpentry to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, operating a variety of tools, and completing a wide range of residential construction and renovation tasks with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

We currently have active residential projects Somerset and Morris counties for carpenters with strong all-around experience.

Responsibilities:
Finish Carpentry:

  • Install interior and exterior trim including baseboards, casing, crown molding, cabinetry, built-ins, and stair components.

  • Deliver precise and clean finish work, ensuring all elements are plumb, level, and flush.

  • Work on custom residential projects requiring high attention to aesthetic detail.

Rough Carpentry:

  • Perform framing, blocking, subflooring, decking, roofing, and structural installations in accordance with plans and codes.

  • Set and install windows, doors, siding, and other residential exterior systems.

  • Carry out renovation and repair work, including demolition and re-builds.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.

  • Apply proper measurements and calculations to ensure precise layouts and installations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of residential carpentry experience (rough and finish).

  • Strong knowledge of building codes and residential construction practices.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

  • Reliable transportation and basic set of carpentry tools.

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and excellent references.

Pay Range: $25.00/hr. – $30.00/hr. (depending on experience).
