Job Description

As a Site Civil Design Engineer, you will be working closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to support a wide range of land development projects. Projects include commercial, residential, and industrial site development, where you will gain hands-on experience in grading, stormwater management, utility design, and site layout. The Site Civil Design Engineer is involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to project completion, assisting with calculations, code research, and coordination with stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the preparation of site civil plans and reports for land development projects

  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control designs

  • Support project teams by researching local, state, and federal regulations, performing calculations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to creative problem-solving efforts

  • Learn and apply applicable land development codes and standards

  • Assist with project documentation and reporting as needed

  • Support the team in project close-out activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or full-time work

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to learn and a proactive mindset

  • Passion for civil site design and professional growth

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually. Commensurate with experience.
