Position: Commercial Electrician (5 Years Minimum Experience)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, equipment, and devices
- Perform commercial rough-in and trim-out: lighting, switches, receptacles, panels, and fixtures
- Pull and install wire, MC/BX cable, feeders, and low-voltage cabling as directed
- Bend, cut, and install EMT conduit for lighting circuits, branch circuits, and equipment feeds
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, plans, and system layouts
- Work safely and efficiently in active commercial environments, including new construction, renovations, and tenant fit-outs
- Assist foremen with layout, task planning, and material management
- Use hand and power tools properly for cutting, bending, terminating, and installing electrical components
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, and project leads
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven ability to bend EMT conduit (offsets, 90s, saddles)
- Strong understanding of commercial lighting, power distribution, device installation, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with NEC requirements and commercial jobsite safety standards
- Reliable transportation and a valid set of electrical hand tools
- Ability to work full-time with occasional overtime when required
- Strong references demonstrating reliability, workmanship, and professionalism
