We’re looking for a motivated Industrial Electrician to support a wide range of industrial installation and troubleshooting projects. Position: Lead Industrial Electrician

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and work alongside a crew of up to four technicians on industrial field installations

  • Install, wire, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including 480V/240V/120V power distribution

  • Build, install, and terminate control panels and low-voltage control wiring

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, prints, and technical work instructions

  • Install machine guarding systems, including drilling, tapping, and mounting of equipment

  • Troubleshoot PLCs, control boards, instrumentation, motors, heaters, and other industrial components

  • Support fabrication efforts, including brackets, mounts, and custom hardware for installations

  • Execute work plans with accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on industrial machinery and capital equipment

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Directors to escalate complex issues

  • Maintain strict compliance with company and client safety practices, procedures, and standards


Project Types You’ll Work On:

  • Machine Guarding: Installation and integration of safety controls and guarding systems

  • Industrial Treatment & Remediation Systems: System upgrades, new construction, controls improvements, troubleshooting

    • Instrumentation, transmitters, motors, heaters, and related equipment



Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrician in CT (E1 or E2)

  • Strong hands-on skills with electrical tools, fabrication tools, and diagnostic equipment

  • Experience troubleshooting complex machinery, CNC equipment, or automated systems

  • Familiarity with controllers such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Experience using precision measuring instruments for equipment checks

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a small crew effectively

  • Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and curiosity to learn

  • Physical stamina to perform industrial installation and maintenance tasks

Preferred Trainings:
Lockout/Tagout, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E


Pay Range: $43.00/hr. - $48.00/hr.
