We’re looking for a dependable carpenter with 6 years of commercial experience who can handle metal stud framing, drywall/sheetrock installation, and outdoor construction work with confidence and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take on a variety of commercial carpentry tasks from rough framing and metal stud installation to drywall hanging and sheetrock finishing. You’ll work on active commercial jobsites, ensure work is completed safely and accurately, and help keep projects moving on schedule.Commercial Carpenter Responsibilities
- Perform commercial rough carpentry work
- Install and frame metal studs
- Hang, finish, and repair drywall and sheetrock
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
- Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Follow all jobsite safety standards and procedures
- Communicate professionally with team members and site leadership
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A minimum of 6 years of commercial carpentry experience
- Strong skills in metal stud framing, rough carpentry, and drywall/sheetrock installation
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and project specifications
- Basic hand tools required for carpentry work
- Proper PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.)
- Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors
Pay Range: $27.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.
