We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of multi-faceted environmental projects for private developers, property owners, attorneys, and municipal, state, and Federal agencies throughout New England.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, your expertise will play a key role in the successful completion of projects, ensuring each component meets our clients high standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct and/or oversee multi-faceted environmental projects including environmental due diligence, subsurface investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation, indoor air quality assessments, hazardous building materials, property condition assessments (PCAs), and commercial energy usage assessments

  • Directly manage all aspects of the project life cycle including planning, scope definition, budgeting, coordination, execution, and delivery

  • Work directly with clients to understand project objectives and develop appropriate scopes of work

  • Prepare and senior review proposals, technical plans and specifications, regulatory submittals, and technical assessment and remediation reports, ensuring accurate data, tables, and figures

  • Coordinate work activities across multiple project functions to ensure timely and successful delivery

  • Manage projects to meet milestones, regulatory requirements, deadlines, budgetary limits, and other performance indicators

  • Senior review Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for project sites

  • Actively participate in account management efforts to engage with clients and procure new work

  • Support assigned manager in meeting or exceeding defined annual budget and utilization targets for the practice area

  • Perform quality control of all assigned service delivery and self-generated work product to maintain an excellent reputation for quality

  • Provide proactive communication regarding project status, risks, and challenges, escalating issues as needed

  • Conduct work in a “lead by example” manner, fostering a positive, collaborative, and goal-oriented environment

  • Travel as necessary to support client, project, and leadership needs

  • Limited travel required, primarily day trips within the Boston area, with occasional travel throughout New England


Qualifications:

We're seeking an experienced professional who brings both technical skill and due diligence to every project. Ideal candidates will have:

  • B.S. Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in environmental consulting, including subsurface investigation and remediation

  • Experience with environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), TSCA, and other relevant regional regulatory programs

  • Demonstrated success managing multi-faceted environmental projects with accelerated schedules

  • Proven ability to maintain and expand client relationships and generate repeat business

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under high-pressure conditions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field

  • Professional certifications (or ability / intent to obtain): PE, PG, PMP, or Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP)

  • Proficiency in MS Project, ArcView, CAD, and/or Adobe

  • OSHA 40-hour “HAZWOPER” training certification


Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000
