Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, field-oriented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to support active construction projects throughout New Jersey. This role involves daily travel to job sites to perform materials testing, document results, and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform construction materials testing for concrete, soils, and reinforcing steel

Travel to project sites throughout New Jersey (up to 2 hours one way, as needed)

Collect samples and conduct field tests in accordance with established procedures

Accurately complete and submit daily reports, test results, and documentation

Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

Maintain testing equipment and tools (mileage and tools reimbursed)

Follow all site safety requirements and company protocols

Communicate effectively with project teams regarding testing activities and results
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year of construction materials testing experience

Hands-on experience testing concrete, soil, and reinforcing steel

OSHA 10 certification (required)

ACI certification preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience considered)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Comfortable with extensive daily travel and field-based work

Strong attention to detail in sampling techniques and documentation
Pay Range: $22.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.
