As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting construction and site development operations. Pay Range: $30.00/hr. - $45:00/hr.

Essential Functions:
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and related machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific protocols.
- Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
- Conduct light preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and work instructions to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is properly secured when not in use.
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Hoisting License.
- Minimum of 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to job site safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
