Responsibilities:
As a bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Record day-to-day transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintain the general ledger and update financial data
- Prepare financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Monitor cash flow and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
- Prepare records for accountants and auditors
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
We are looking for a dependable professional with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices.
- Relevant Experience: 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, or similar accounting software
- Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and organizational skills
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Communication skills: Comfortable working with internal teams, vendors, and clients
