Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos inspections in commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and identify suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACM).
- Collect bulk samples in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, sample locations, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, AHERA, and applicable state and local regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, laboratories, and abatement contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate field notes, chain-of-custody documentation, and inspection records.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal teams.
- Stay current with asbestos regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Travel to project sites throughout the service area as required.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Asbestos Inspector.
- Current Asbestos Inspector certification required (state-specific certification preferred, if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and AHERA asbestos regulations and inspection protocols.
- Experience collecting bulk samples and preparing detailed inspection reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites.
