We’re hiring an experienced Asbestos Inspector to perform inspections, collect samples, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local asbestos regulations. Responsibilities:

 
  • Perform asbestos inspections in commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and identify suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACM).
  • Collect bulk samples in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, sample locations, and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, AHERA, and applicable state and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, laboratories, and abatement contractors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate field notes, chain-of-custody documentation, and inspection records.
  • Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay current with asbestos regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Travel to project sites throughout the service area as required.

Qualifications:
 
  • 2+ years of experience as an Asbestos Inspector.
  • Current Asbestos Inspector certification required (state-specific certification preferred, if applicable).
  • Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and AHERA asbestos regulations and inspection protocols.
  • Experience collecting bulk samples and preparing detailed inspection reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites.

Pay Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experience.
