Job Description
We have partnered with an established environmental consulting firm to identify an experienced Asbestos Investigator to join their New York team. This is a full-time, salaried opportunity offering $80,000–$120,000 annually, along with fantastic opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct asbestos inspections, surveys, and investigations of commercial, residential, and other properties.
- Identify suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) through detailed visual inspections.
- Develop sampling strategies and collect bulk samples in accordance with applicable regulations and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate field notes, photographs, sampling records, and project documentation.
- Prepare detailed asbestos inspection and survey reports.
- Coordinate with laboratories and review analytical results.
- Review building plans, architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents as needed.
- Communicate findings and project requirements to clients, contractors, property managers, and project teams.
- Assist with asbestos abatement oversight, air monitoring, and clearance activities as required.
- Ensure field activities comply with applicable EPA, OSHA, NYS, and NYC regulations.
- Stay current with asbestos regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Travel to project sites throughout New York City and surrounding areas as required.
- Work closely with project managers and senior environmental professionals on a variety of environmental consulting assignments.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000 Commensurate with Experience
