Industrial Hygiene Technician
Responsibilities:
- Assist with asbestos abatement project design and monitoring
- Perform asbestos inspections
- Document all field activities such as inspections on remediation sites
- Complete accurate reports of field findings
- Maintain proper use of field equipment
- Collect and interpret construction documents
- Present information to team members and clientele
- Conduct required mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering
- 1-4 years of experience
- State and EPA accredited Training; Current State Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint licenses a plus
- Knowledge of Connecticut Department of Public Health, OSHA and EPA Regulations is a plus
