Resource Options is currently partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering form along the coast of New Hampshire, actively hiring for a Solid Waste Engineer.  This is a growing company, with three different offices throughout New England and aspirations to continue the growth.  With a heavy emphasis on a flexible work environment and a collaborative team mentality, this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for a new challenge. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Permitting for a variety of solid waste management projects
  • Designing with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD on transfer stations, recycling facilities, and landfills. 
  • Managing multiple projects at a time
  • Mentoring junior level team members
  • Traveling to various sites within the New England area
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clientele
  • Preparing project proposals
  • Managing budgets and financials within a project

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • PE license required, or ability to obtain PE license within a year
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other stormwater programs required
  • Ability to manage projects
  • At least five years of experience in a civil engineering role
