ROI is currently seeking team oriented Laborers to join our growing team! The qualified individual will work directly under the supervision of a Laborer performing the functions listed below using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, while conforming to local building codes.

Position Requirements:

  • Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of debris
  • Navigate construction job site terrain.
  • Direct traffic within construction site when necessary to ensure safety of work crew.
  • Assist with the loading and delivery of materials.
  • Demolition & rubbish removal; site maintenance/cleaning.
  • May operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors.
  • Assists mechanic to position, align, and fit together construction components to complete the installation of systems and work assigned in a timely and quality fashion.
  • Holds, positions, and reads tape to assist in layout.
  • Places and moves equipment and materials.
  • Positions and turns clamps; screws, bolts, and hammers parts together; uses tools and equipment properly and only if certified (as required).
  • Transports and furnishes mechanic with materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment; ensures that tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.


Position Qualifications:

  • Applicant will need to provide his/her own hand tools & belt, and be able to transport him/herself to job sites.
  • Continually endures persistent standing and walking, rarely sitting.
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • OSHA 10
  • OSHA 40
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience working residential and commercial job sites.
  • Continually required to stoop and kneel.
  • Continually spends time working outdoors and travelling in all weather conditions.
  • Regularly working in awkward positions; stooping and reaching; bending and kneeling when working in footings and setting forms, and exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, and sludge and climbing up and down ladders and equipment.
  • Periodically lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Regularly exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals, etc. Chemicals will be handled according to Company policy and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Periodically exposed to heights and ability to balance/walk on walls.
  • Continually working with high noise levels and significant vibration associated with the equipment/tools, and jobsite environmental conditions.
  • Regularly works under pressure meeting project schedules and budget guidelines.
  • Continually work with diversified work groups and at times confronts and manages aggressive        personalities.
  • Continually able to work eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays each week and occasional weekends.
